Create an account with Microsoft Video Indexer

To use axle ai with Microsoft Video Indexer (MVI), you'll need to create an MVI account, then provide your MVI API key to axle.

To create an MVI account, visit

Select the Sign In option in the top-right of the page.

This will take you to a new page where you can sign in with Azure Active Directory, Google, or Microsoft accounts.

Once you select a service and sign in, confirm your contact information to complete the sign up process.

Click your username in the top-right of the page, and select Profile from the menu.

You will be taken to the profile page where you can see your API keys. Select Show next to your Primary key and copy it for your records. You will need to use it to link with axle. Note that you can always return to your profile page to see your API key.

From here you can upload video to the service, search your uploaded videos, and more. For full details, see the documentation here.

You can also find your user ID by clicking your account name in the bar along the top of the site. Your ID is a long string of numbers and letters. Copy it for your records. You will need it to link axle to your account.
