When trying to log in to axle, you may see an error that looks like this:
This indicates that axle cannot connect to the database, which most commonly happens when the computer restarts while axle is updating the database.
You can restore the connection with the axle Status tool, which is inside the axle installation folder, in a folder called "Extras." Typically this will be in your axle server's downloads folder.
Launch the application, then restart the database using the panel in the center-top of the app.
Click the restart button, then enter your computer admin password, then press the restart button again. After a moment, the database connection will be reset and you will be able to log into axle as normal.
