Introduction to Bins and Subclips

axle allows users to create subclips from media files or selections of media files. These subclips are stored in special folders called bins.

Subclips and bins do not exist on your file storage or take up space. They are markers that reference your existing files.

Once you have created subclips, you can open the bin containing them and select the subclips you would like to work with in Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, and export them as an XML file. Import that file into the editor, and it will link the original media files from the storage.
